Job brief/Overall Job Description

The Sales Representative will be responsible for adding additional revenue for Niche Electronics. This will be achieved through sales planning and goals established by Sales Management.

Responsibilities

  • Locate and qualify new prospects/accounts for Niche Electronics per criteria established by Niche
  • Identify key personnel and decision makers at each targeted account
  • Create Sales Plan for each of your targeted accounts in the CRM system
  • Execute Sales Plan and record progress in Niche’s CRM system.
  • Aggressively pursue accounts via, cold calls, emails, social media, etc.
  • Make face-to-face appointments (in person, virtual)
  • Facilitate and plan Factory Visits
  • Solicit RFQ’s
  • Assist Purchasing and Manufacturing in processing RFQ’s
  • Send, follow up and record results of all RFQ’s
  • Create Sales Plan for each of your current customer to retain and grow revenue
  • Help manage your current customer’s order requests and updates
  • Establish solid relationships with current customers, prospects and fellow employees
  • Work with Sales Manager in creating effective sales campaigns for targeted accounts
  • Help with forecasting future sales to achieve personal and company revenue goals
  • Participate in trade shows and/or walk trade shows.
  • Perform any other or assigned duties established by the sales manager

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience successfully selling contract manufacturing services or similar to OEM’s outsourcing their electronic manufacturing,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated to achieve both personal and company goals
  • Ability to effectively present in front of small groups of potential customers
  • Proficient in MS products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and similar
  • Familiar with CRM systems
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and other technical documents used in electronic manufacturing

At Niche Electronics, a Production Line Assistant is an entry level position requiring little experience but good aptitude, versatility, and willingness to learn with the goal being to be promoted to a Machine Operator position.

The Production Line Assistant will help the Machine Operators on the electronics production lines. Responsibilities are outlined below.

The role requires adeptness in manufacturing lines processes, a keen attention to detail, and versatility to shift between tasks when needed. As a Production Line Assistant, you will be on your feet and moving from station to station almost all day. You will need good hand dexterity to work with small electronics components, and care for safely moving electronics assemblies without damaging them.

Responsibilities

  • Offline Set-Up: Prepare feeders and carts for the next production phase, ensuring all components are present and correct.
  • Changeover & Machine Loading: Help execute changeovers under direction of Machine Operators, ensuring the machine is loaded with the necessary components.
  • Component Replenishment: Under direction of Machine Operators, monitor and replenish parts as the machine operates to avoid downtime.
  • Screen Printer: Observe, learn, and assist the Machine Operator with the screen printer, ensuring optimal solder paste application for each board.
  • Small Component Placement: You will use tweezers to place small electronics components prior to reflow.
  • Quality Assurance: Observe, learn, and assist the Machine Operator to verify components placed by machine are present and correct polarities.
  • Product Inspection: Closely review PCB boards after production to check for obvious defects.
  • Routine Maintenance: Observe, learn, and assist the Machine Operator carry out regular preventative maintenance and cleaning for all assigned equipment, ensuring longevity and optimal functioning.
  • Documentation: Learn about and assist the maintenance of accurate records of machine settings, production outputs, and component inventory.
  • Troubleshooting: Observe, learn, and assist the Machine Operator to identify and rectify production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Perform basic visual inspection of PCBA’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.

Job brief

An electronics solderer is responsible for soldering or assembling surface mount and through hole electronic components on printed circuit boards. The candidate must demonstrate quality workmanship and be able to read and interpret work documents such as BOMs, routers, work instructions, and drawings necessary to produce high quality electronic assemblies that exceed our customer’s expectations, in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Solder surface mount components (Fine pitch, SOIC etc.)
  • Solder through-hole components
  • Perform visual inspection of PCB’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements

Requirements

  • Familiar with electronics components: resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transistors, ICs, etc.
